Cossacks' diplomacy
One of the sides of diplomatic missions – are different forms of people' diplomacy. These important forms we could see at the places of armed conflicts and local wars. They all are different but have the same idea. That is peaceful settlement and smooth over confrontation. Nowadays these forms are the globalists' and greens' movement, traditional government meetings of the Eight Leaders and informal Youth organizations. Among other forms the Cossacks Movement seems to be unique.
Cossacks have a campaign to Crimea not for the first time. Every cossacks campaign is a very important event not just for cossacks but for the citizens of the peninsula as well. As a rule this event starts at the beginning of holiday season in Crimea (May, June) This period was chosen to attract the attention of the world community, to stress the cossacks role in regulation of national conflicts, peacemaking and spirit of conciliation.
It is not a secret that now the Crimea looks like a “delayed-action mine”. It is a geopolitic card that is plaied to satisfy some national leaders or big military blocks.
On this background cossacks is a public force that is against of making Crimea as Cosovo and Chechnia.
Supreme Ataman Vodolatskiy V.P. said : “At present time we have the opportunity for the cooperation of Slavonic people and cossacks. Cossacks organizations are full participant of economic and social processes that are taken place in the world. Cossacks is an organized force that is capable to work for the creation.
Today cossacks conduct peaceful demonstraitions and culture forums. Participants from Russia, CIS and all over the world take part in the events.
Here, at big cossacks forums we can see about 5000 people, representatives of cossack communities and bodies of troops from all over the world. As a rule , the Union of Russian and abroad Cossacks forces organize these events. It is an organized and military combination.
From 1 st to 3d of June the Second Forum of Cossacks Culture took place in Crimea. It was opened in the Crimian ancient capital Feodocia, at the symbolic place where the saint mission of Andrey Pervozvanniy, the Christianity Founder, had began. From that place White Army started its military campaign. In this city almost every stone means history that remember about confrontation of past and present times.
For the citizens of Crimea cossacks are desired guests. Last year cossacks stopped here the invasion of islamic, crimea-tatars fundamentalizm. In 2006 it was decided to organize here a cossacks headquarters (by the order of the Supreme Ataman Vodolastkiy V P). It is a legal fact for the autonomous republic of Crimea, Ukrain and Russia.
According to the tradition the cossack forum was oped with the greetings of the Supreme Ataman Vodolastkiy V P and the head of local administration. After that a big concert took place near the main station of the Feodocia city. The great number of people visited the concert .
Next day the Big Circle tool place in Simferopol. The cossacks column visited the Simferopol places of memory, placed flowers near the Eternal Fire and Suvorov monument.
Cossack Forum finished with the great cossack dinner.
Cossacks visited Saint Uspensliy monastry in Bahchisaray. They demonstrated the participation in peaceful settlement of national processes in Crimea. In this campaign cossacks showed their good will and Orthodox religion.
